Scraps of Meaning
This class is designed to inspire you to tap into your creativity by utilizing those treasured scraps you’ve been hesitant to throw away. Our aim is to help you make remarkable strides on, or even finish, a quilt top that showcases your most cherished remnants. Whether you have old clothing, vintage textiles, or leftover materials that hold sentimental value, this class will guide you in turning them into something truly special. In our initial lesson, we will explore ways to find inspiration, delve into both hand and machine construction methods, and create a plan to bring your artistic vision to life. After this session, you'll have the opportunity to work on your quilt tops independently before we reconvene to discuss finishing touches and quilting techniques. Please remember to gather your supplies before class.
