8. BSR Hands-On Free Motion Quilting

2 Hours              $50.00 includes book
This is a class to introduce and allow you to explore free motion quilting techniques using your Bernina Stitch Regulator or BSR. Learn to stipple and meander. Types of battings will also be discussed. Don’t have BSR? Would like to try it out? Sign up now to reserve a machine (limited number of machines available). Pick up supply list before first class.

9A & 9B. Special Lecture—Fun With Color

2-1/2 Hours          $30.00
Is color driving you crazy? Come and learn color theory for fabric. Be prepared to take notes and expand your knowledge of the use of color in your quilts. Your color wheel will become your friend, not just a wall decoration. Bring in your patterns or quilts that you are having difficulty finalizing the colors and the last 20 minutes of class we will discuss color possibilities.

10. Fall, Leaves, Fall Quilt Top

2 Lessons            $50.00 includes pattern
Are you a beginner quilter or have completed "Kindergarten Quilting"? This is a great next quilt for you! Learn triangles, "stitch-n-flip," "half-square", and an optional stem piecing block. This quilt would be great for scrap piecing or fat quarters. Pick up supply list before first class.

11. Let’s Twist Quilt Top

2 Lessons             $75.00 includes ruler
Learn to make fun, fast, and easy pinwheels using easy piecing techniques and a special rotary tool. The resulting quilt will be approx 60" x 60" including border. Pick up supply list before first class.

12. Easy Binding Techniques Lecture/Demo

1-1/2 Hours           $20.00
Let’s finish those projects. Learn French binding, simple binding from the backing, and easy applications of pre-made bindings.

13. Courthouse Curves Quilt Top

2 Lessons            $85.00 includes pattern & ruler
Here is a traditional block done with a modern twist. Sew the well known Courthouse Block, then with the Curves for Squares Ruler, cut the blocks in half. Pick up supply list before first class.

14. Paper Piecing

Achieve intricate designs with no cutting out of small pieces. Come and learn paper piecing by making these quilt labels. Pick up supply list before first class.

15. Kindergarten Quilting

5 Lessons           $75.00 includes handout
Welcome to kindergarten! This is the class for those who want to start out quilting easily. In this class, three blocks styles are shown: the four patch, nine patch, and star. No templates are used. All quilts are rotary cutter easy. Machine quilting and binding will also be discussed.
