35A & 35B. Managing Your Machine
2 Hours            $25.00
Is your machine a mystery?  Do you want to get more done in less time?  Come and learn the basics on your machine. (You need to know your make and model when you sign up.)  Topics covered:  cleaning and oiling, types of needles, threading, basic seaming, buttonholes (if your machine has them), blind hemming, mending, and gathering. Class size limited. Bring your machine. 
(Your machine must be in working order and complete. If you are not sure if your machine works, you MUST bring it in before the day of class to have it checked by us.)

36. Make Pants with Pattern Fitting With Confidence      
3 Lessons         $90.00 includes book and patternFor beginning to advanced seamstresses, Pattern Fitting with Confidence provides simple ways to achieve professional-looking garments– for all body types! Pam will show you how to adapt your pattern for a better fit. Basic knowledge using a pattern is required. Pick up supply list before first class. Note: You will be sewing your project at home. There will be no sewing time during class. 
The class time is used for fitting purposes only.

37. Zippers Lecture/Demo

Learn your zipper basics. Perfect topstitching on a standard slot zipper. Learn to insert a separating zipper. Also learn the techniques for inserting an invisible zipper.

38. Hands-on Zipper Techniques
2 Hours             $30.00
Come and brush up your zipper skills. Learn how to put in a separating, lap, and a fly front zipper. Pick up supply list before first class.

Learn variations of applying a patch pocket on a shirt, and jacket. Learn professional topstitching, and interfacing techniques, as well as how to professionally round corners.

40. Hands-on Buttonhole Techniques
2 Hours             $30.00 includes kit

Machine buttonhole, knit buttonholes, corded buttonholes, and sewing buttons on will all be covered in this hands-on class. We will also discuss how to measure and space your buttonholes evenly.

Expand your creative possibilities for garment and craft closures. Some of the topics covered will be making creative cords for your closures, embellishing covered buttons, decorative bartacks, snaps, and hooks and eyes.
